In San Francisco, soybean is a first crop since it was seeded on plots that rested for more than six months. On the other hand, Yaguarí has only second crop since soybean was seeded on plots immediately after wheat was harvested (December 2009 and January 2010).

U.A.G. has more than six hundred hectares of rice in both farms, composed by four different varieties that have shown good results under research trials. More than sixty percent of the area is located in San Francisco, where land could be better prepared for doing an excellent sown and water reservoirs were plenty enough for the area already seeded. Yaguarí had less water reserve for irrigation at the beginning of spring, limiting the area seeded to something more than one hundred and eighty hectare.
