The last week of December our staff and their family celebrated the arrival of 2010 at a farmhouse in José Ignacio located thirty kilometres from Punta del Este. Our teams celebrated a successful 2009 in which the company grew to over 20’000 hectares of land and managers exchanged gifts and shared their goals and objectives for the new year.
With regard to the successful second private placement of shares of the company during the year, Josh Enchin gave a tombstone to UAG management in the name of the placement syndicate integrated by Wellington west, Bank of Montreal, Macquarie and Canaccord.
