Last week the legal proceedings were finalised for the acquisition of a new farm through the signing of the final contract by UAG chairman Juan Sartori, director Jérome Tordo, CFO Oscar de Leon and COO Silvio de Souza Rocha. UAG has purchased Villa Lucero, a 9.002 hectare farm close to other UAG properties such as Yaguarí and San Francisco. This is one of the biggest and most well known farms in Uruguay.

This property fits perfectly into our integrated productive system, meaning that different business activities will be possible at this location. UAG will be producing rice, soybeans and wheat, but also have livestock (both intensive and extensive breeding). We were able to include in the agreement the already present rice and soybeans and we also bought all equipment that met our standards.
